Natalie Santoro is a Chicago-based potter and actor. With a background in painting and illustration, when Natalie began working in clay it was a natural progression to include paintings on her functional ceramics. She works out of an old church with her puppy underfoot and spends her days painting and throwing pottery for her community as well as working in theater.

A collaboration with my friend Maria Blanco, its always such an honor to watch Maria work, like nature I find it best to stay out of the way and her wonderful dance do most of the work, I often feel guilty putting my name along side cause she is truly doing it all, enjoy.

Loud bodies - Open rehearsal
Maria Blanco and Yariana Baralt Torres founded LOUD BODIES with the purpose of creating a platform for activism through dance. LOUD BODIES looks to create meaningful work inspired by social issues that will evoke emotion and provoke change. LOUD BODIES uses dance and choreography to fight for social justice, to bring awareness to oppressed topics or communities, and to call for unity, understanding, and most importantly, action.
